Gombe State governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Fatima (Ladi) Adamu Jauro, the senior wife of Supreme Court Justice Adamu Jauro.
He described the loss as heartbreaking and extending his condolences to the bereaved family.
Hajiya Fatima died on Friday in Gombe at the age of 54.
In a condolence message, issued by his director general on press affairs, Ismaila Uba Misilli, Governor Yahaya said her passing was a great loss not only to the family, but also to the people of Gombe State who knew her as a humble, compassionate and God-fearing woman devoted to her family and the service of Almighty Allah.
The governor described the deceased as a unifying figure, a supportive companion and a dependable pillar of strength throughout her lifetime as the senior wife of the family.
“Losing a wife is one of the most painful experiences for any loving husband, particularly at a time when her support and guidance remain invaluable to the well-being and cohesion of the family.
“However, as Muslims, we submit to the will of Almighty Allah and accept His decree with faith, patience and total resignation, knowing that every soul shall return to its Creator at the appointed time,” the governor said.
Governor Yahaya prayed for Almighty Allah to grant Justice Adamu Jauro, the entire Jauro Dan Lawan family and other relatives the strength to bear the loss, while asking Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus.
